Military Appreciation Day: Salute to Service

This annual event is the business community’s opportunity to show appreciation for the men and women in uniform at our region’s military installations and thank them for their service to our country and to our community.

This Military Appreciation day event celebrates active-duty servicemembers,  veterans and retired military members. Food, family fun, and a warm welcome are the hallmarks of Military Appreciation Day.

This year’s event will be held on Laurel Bay and include a round robin kickball tournament with military and community teams.

The event will begin on Friday, May 9 at 4pm and last until 7pm with free food and drinks, local business giveaways, and family activities for those with a military ID. We will also welcome special presentations by installation commanders and community leaders as we say THANK YOU to servicemembers past and present!
